TIPS TO CALCULATE FOR OPTAMISATION

The process which allows you to find the maximum and minimum of any problem is known as optimization.This process may require the use of calculus sometimes.The volume of three dimension objects and the amount of certain materials to use in order to lower production costs can be calculated with the help of calculus.You can solve these problems in two ways.
Instructions:
1.Your variables should be set accordingly and an equation should be written.Make that the variables relate one another.
Example:2y=(8x)2+12x
2.Now isolate one of the variables
y=(4x)2+6x
3. Set the derivative of the equation to 0:
f’(y) = 8x+6
0 = 8x+6
4.Solve for the remaining variable:
x = -(3/4)
5.Plug that solution back into the original equation to find the solution for the remaining variables. Graph your original equation and plot your findings.
