The entire process of creation of adsense unit can be avoided again in selecting the colors and format of the ad unit because you already have an existing adsense ad unit, and you may wish to keep using it again. You can use the “import code “ option to upgrade the ad code for easy upgradation of the code within your account.
- Locate the code after searching for it in your blog’s code.
- Click on the “adsense setup” tab after logging into your adsense account by providing appropriate username and password details,
- Below it, you will notice, “manage ads” link, below it you can observe “ import your old adsense code” as link, click it.
- The existing code which is present on your site into the ad box and name it with some memorable name such as the site or the page or the post for which you are using this ad unit.
- Click on “save and get code” so as to create another ad unit with exact same settings as that of the existing ad unit,
- Now a code is generated, use this code to replace the old one , in your blog’s code and now save the settings.
- Without the need for updating your pages, you can change this adsense unit right from your account.
